We have been involved in drifting for a very long time. Over this time we have pushed the boundaries year after year with our ” Championship Winning Engine Mapping”. Now are engine and turbo package’s are pushing it even further. We have come to the point that for our customers to get best out of the engine and mapping packages they need better suspension geometry setups.

We have been working on various ways of making a better designed front steering setup. We have had great results from modifying the sub frame and hubs to allow for more lock. Now we need to push further to reduce “ackerman” angle and camber change on the wheels at high lock angles while still maintaining maximum grip in a straight line for braking.

To achieve all of our goals we started with a clean slate. We would design everything needed from scratch.

To do this we started by using our “Microscribe MX” portable “CMM” to measure all the necessary points and attributes on a Nissan S Body.

Here you can see the “Microscribe MX” portable “CMM” setup in the center of the wheel arch were it can reach all pints to be measured.

In the next series of Images you will see how the “Microscribe MX” portable “CMM” arm articulates to measure the various positions and pint and faces.

Once all the desired point are measured we get a 3 Veiws of the Job that we can use to create the Solid-model.

We then spent weeks designing all the parts and then adjusting the different point to get the geometry we wanted.

The final results looks like this.

58-59 Degrees of lock with a 18″x10″j with 255 40 18″ Tyre and up to 67 Degrees lock with a 18″or17″x8″j with 225 40 18″ Tyre.

A view from the front with 18″9.5″J ET12 Rota GTR-D 59 Degrees of lock on the steering wheel.

A view form behind the wheel showing the clearance on the lower arm.

The main Kit Components.

The billet aluminium hub with EN24T bearing spindle.

A veiw form the underside showing the lock angle and correct “akerman” angle for this lock.

The pricing on the kits will be announced on the 1st February and order will be taken then on a first come first delivered basis. All kits ordered in the first week of February will be ready to install before the end of February.

If you would like more information or to be e-mailed when the pricing is released please e-mail your details stating interest in the Kit to parts@tdp.ie.

Held every year on the 27th December the Sprint is one of the most popular on the calender as everyone is off work and looking to get out of the house.

Rumour has it there was 150+ entries on the day and the club did a great job running the event.

David James form Gorey is not stranger to driving the TDP evo.  He has won every sprint he has started in Mondello in the car.

Due to running early on a wet slippy track and having a small run-in with a tyre wall David had to work hard for the win.  After 2 runs he was down 1 second to the nearest competitor.

He had it all to do on the last run with the power steering pump failing on the car he would have to try hard.

Here is a video of the last winning run.

We are proud to announce the release of our new TDP adjustable camber arms. We have invested a massive number of hours on the R & D and the sourcing of all the right grades of materials and rod ends (rose joints).

Our new Rear Top Camber Arms will fit Nissan S14/S15 & R33/R34. They may also fit S13 & R32 depending on the coil-overs. Please contact us for further information.

The adjustment range is 0mm (same as std.) to 50mm longer to reduce negative camber on cars lowered 100+mm.

Each kit will consist of:

2 aerospace quality billet camber arms CNC machined to 0.01mm accuracy and inspected by CMM (co-ordinate measuring machine).

2 In-situe adjusters made from high tensile aerospace stainless steel with lock nuts made of same material.

2 Fluro 16mm Rod Ends with high dynamic load bearing material. With lock nuts made from high tensile aerospace stainless steel.

2 Reducers with 12mm holes to fit & space the rose joints on the frame.

2 M12 high tensile bolts (12.9 grade) & M12 Nylock nuts for the hub end with washers.

2 M12 high tensile bolts (12.9 grade) & M12 Nylock nuts and special stainless steel washers to remove the original Nissan camber adjustment.

Here are some Images to whet you appetite!

Billet of Aluminium 6086 Heat Treated and Tempered to T651

After first stage high speed milling.

A left and right pair after first stage milling and 5 axis milling and threading.

A pair of finished arms with hardware.

As you can see the angle on the in-situe adjuster and rod end gives extra clearance on the chassis legs for exceptionally low cars.

Now fitted to an S14 running pretty low. The chassis to adjuster / rod end clearance is massive. This allows the car to be lowered more than any other camber arm currently on the market.

As you can see the clearance between the damper and camber arm is massive.

Availability NOW.

Warranty

As this is a Motorsport part we won’t warranty crash damage but will warranty the adjuster and rod end against wear for 12 months as long as it has been installed and maintained in accordance with the fitting instructions. All parts will be available separately in case of accidental damage by the user.

Dispatch Time: 3-5 days from order and payment processing.

Delivery method: An Post next day in Ireland or DPD to Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. Fed-EX and UPS world wide.

Payment method: Cash, PayPal, Major Credit cards, Direct Bank Transfer.

The cost reflects the quality € 195.00 per pair inc. vat.

Congratulatins to JJ Wall & Willie Fitzpatrick on finishing the Wexford Stages Rally in 8th place overall. JJ drives a MoTeC-mapped 1400cc Vauxhall-engined Citroen C1. He won his class by a very respectable 3 minutes and 58 seconds. We’d also like to give a big well done to Sam Smyth and Johnny Murphy for finishing in the top 15 overall. Johnny Murphy set the quickest time on SS1 in his TDP-engines Mk. 2 Escort.
