Basic Dampers

TEIN type BASIC damper offers a high quality coilover system with added performance and comfort at an entry-level price. Drivers will feel in increase in stability and grip, while maintaining good ride quality on the road. A shortened shell case is utilized to allow for better ride and improved performance at lowered ride heights. BASIC damper is a great option for consumers wanting a simple and quality made coilover. Each application is test fitted and road tested to ensure the best possible balance between comfort and performance on the road. They come with preset damping rates suited to the supplied spring rates and are ride height adjustable, although do not give the full range of height adjustment that some of the more advanced coilovers do.

Super Street

TEIN Super Street damper kit was designed for drivers seeking improved handling on the road and at the track. A shortened shell case is utilized to allow the most piston stroke possible, which allows for a better ride at lowered ride heights, and increased grip at the track. Great for daily driving and occasion track use, whether it be at the drag strip, local circuit, or Auto-X course. Includes both ride height and damping force adjustment to allow the driver to dial in the suspension for various surface conditions.

Super Street with Upper mounts adds front and rear upper mounts. The upper mounts increase steering response, and allow for EDFC compatibility. On strut type vehicles, the front upper mounts will include camber adjustment plates.

MONO Flex

The MONO FLEX coilover kit has been developed for entry-level competition motorsports and advanced street driving. Features include 16-way damping force adjustability (combined compression and rebound), a mono-tube internal design, pillowball upper mounts, and EDFC compatibility. There are independent adjustments for ride-height and spring pre-load settings for increased suspension tuning. Super Drift

TEIN’s support of competition D1 drivers and vehicles has led to the development of Super Drift dampers. Which were specifically developed for the avid drifter. Spring rates and damping force characteristics were chosen to increase car control in a drift, and to aid in initiating a slide. Full length and 16 level damping force adjustment allow suspension tuning for drivers at all skill levels. Pillowball upper mounts with front camber adjustment plates are included*. Euro Damper

TEIN has now developed products specifically for European cars which incorporate their latest technology. Euro Damper was designed for
greater performance compared with standard dampers while maintaining ride comfort. TEIN has integrated their latest Micro Speed Valve (M.S.V.) technology to precisely control low compression and rebound. This system allows the car to have improved handling and gives the driver quicker steering response without losing ride comfort. Euro Dampers are ideal for daily driving and high speed cruising. Our EDFC system is also capable, which allows damping force adjustments to be made from the driver’s seat.

Super Racing

Developed from actual competition, TEIN was able to create a fully adjustable damper that can be easily tuned for any track and weather conditions. Super Racing Dampers utilize a full-length adjustment system to allow shock length and spring pre-load to be adjusted independently. Separate 16 – way adjustments for compression and rebound damping enable the user to fine tune for any situation. TEIN has incorporated both camber and caster adjustment into the front pillow ball upper mounts for strut type vehicles. External reservoirs on SA type dampers allow for added oil capacity. TYPE N1

Type N1 is Tein’s exclusive racing model application which encompasses TEIN’s technological innovations and extensive racing experience. The N1 damper is a mono tube design available in either aluminium or steel construction. Features full-length adjustment for individual adjustments of spring pre-load and damper length. Separate 20 x 20 way compression and rebound adjustment for fine tuning. The stroke and valving have been specifically designed for circuit racing conditions to provide maximum grip. TYPE HG

Type HG is designed for rally and / or dirt trail racing. It meets the demands of any road surface with its individual compression / rebound damping force adjustment, and ride height adjustment. Utilizes a twin-tube design, and is constructed with steel for additional durability on rough courses. In order to prevent aeration that can diminish performance, a unique free piston was adapted in the construction of the HG. Developed from TEIN’s extensive experience gained in Rally competitions and support.

TYPE Gr. N

The TEIN Group N damper was developed through vigorous testing in the P-WRC. TEIN’s extensive background in Rally racing not only as a parts supplier but as a former team have culminated into the Gr.N damper. Some of the basic features include full-length adjustability, 3+1 – way damping force adjustment, external reservoirs, and inverted mono tube design. TEIN’s latest technologies have also been incorporated which are Micro Speed Valve, Temperature Compensating Valve, and Hydraulic Bump Stop. Gr.N damper has been tested all over the world, and is currently used by competitors in P-WRC, China Rally Championship, Asia Pacific Rally, Polish Rally Championship, Africa Rally Championship, and Rally America series.

Performance Bar

TEIN aluminium Performance Bars are produced in two designs, round and oval. By using A6000 aluminium, TEIN has been able to produce bars, which are not only lightweight but are also exceptionally rigid. The twist and flex that occurs in performance driving is reduced, therefore allowing the driver to obtain the full potential of the suspension. Features include green anodized mounting plates, polished aluminium bar, and EDFC compatibility.

Tie Rod & End
TEIN Tie Rods and Tie Rod Ends are designed to replace weak OEM components. The TEIN units are not only stronger but are also capable of increased steering angle. By utilizing a larger diameter rod and stronger materials, TEIN was able to increase rod strength by 10~55% depending on application. The TEIN tie rod ends can be configured in two ways, OEM steering angle, or increased steering angle. Which allows for tighter turning radius, and deeper drift angles. TIE RODS AND ENDS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY.

Pillowball Tension Rods

TEIN Pillowball Tension Rods are designed to replace the OEM bushing type rods. The pillowball type ends help to improve both vehicle acceleration and deceleration by limiting the movement (deflection under load) of the lower arms. Also increases steering response and reduces roll at corners. The Carbon Steel tension rod includes an adjustable turnbuckle, which allows for adjustment of caster angle for more precise wheel alignment.
